NUMBERS
Números in Portuguese. Different from English, the numbers in Portuguese do have a plural form; some of them even have feminine and masculine forms. Nouns and adjectives usually follow the plural form in accordance to the number. The exceptions are the thousands.

*pay attention how the numbers 16, 17, 18 and 19 follow the English idea of “teen”, using as a prefix the number 10: dez-. Same goes to the hundreds, using as a suffix –centos.
